It's actually two bugs, and perhaps it should be rewritten to reflect that. The bug in unity is that it captures the super key, and refuses access to anything further in the stack, including g-s-d.
We have found a workaround for super-P for g-s-d, and that's what the verification-needed is about. So if super-P switches between monitors, the bug should be considered verification-done, from the g-s-d side of things. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950160 Title: Unity blocks other programs from binding globally to Super+* or Alt+* (* = any key) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/950160/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
