Fred, If you still have no decorations, please check that: 1. gtk-window-decorator is still running using this command: ps auxw | grep decor 2. the decor plugin is loaded: (a) Run ccsm (from package compizconfig-settings-manager) (b) Scroll down to Effects and make sure Window Decoration is enabled.
