Same for me, after upgrading from Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04. I had configured from nVidia X Server Settings two monitors with Separate X Screens, they worked fine. After the update my left screen (1) is blank with a cursor shaped with an x, only contextual menu from right click works. Right screen (0) works fine.
