Unfortunately unity 5.16.0 does not fix this bug (completely). There is still an edge case: bug 1025535
Steps to reproduce: 1. In CCSM, enable Desktop Cube 2. In Desktop Cube's settings, in the Transparent Cube tab, set "Opacity When Not Rotating" to any value less than 100.0000 3. Open an application capable of fullscreen (firefox, totem, etc) 4. Enter fullscreen (usually [F11] or [Alt]+[Enter]) 5.
