My spec : Asus G73sw with a Nvidia GTX 460 M. I've just upgraded to 12.04. I did not have this bug with 11.04.
I've tried different Nvidia drivers, to no avail. I have now the lastest beta one (310.14). And I found a simple, but not entirely satisfactory, work around: I've just selected no effect for minimize animation in CompizConfig Settings Manager (CCSM).
