@Ruben, How did you solve this? I had x-swat updates installed before I upgraded to precise. The ppa was turned off during the upgrade, but I have the exact same problem you describe, and the coincidence is suspicious. I should be running the default packages, but I still see the problem. How can I make sure I'm not running something else?
