yes, that surely solves the problem because compiz does no longer paint your windows. Yet still this "workaround" is like solving a problem with your car's breakes by buying a new one... of course I can use kwin instead of compiz and have usable decorations but I WANT to have real 3D, DesktopCube, Animations, Ringswitcher and so on.
