Been using this fix for about a week now. The whole GUI is a lot more responsive. It seems to solve a lot of the lag / hangs in accessing menus and especially when working in LO Calc (mainly when changing cell formats in pretty large worksheets with a lot of formulas). I do still get some hangs within Calc when switching from one sheet to another; either through the menu or through the bar. Those hangs are always accompanier by intensive disc access. When I check the system monitor there is no or hardly any swap file.
