Hi Sebastian, as I think there hadn't been a response to your mail so far, here it goes.
The Reflection extension is checked in the experimental folder and almost ready. There a some few points which may be discussed and some patches Falko will commit in a few hours/days (Falko? ;) ) Toby suggested a new tag parser at the FrOSCon and we thought about including a interface to be able to use his parser instead of the state-based one, I've written so far, but we haven't put any effort into it up to know. May be Toby could provide us with some information about the current state of his parser. Toby? And there has been a discussion to include another Interface definition in between the reflection classes and the underlying infrastructure, to be able to use a parser and handle Reflection without loading the classes. But don't know how that much about this idea. Falko? Think this was everything about the Reflection Component to be reported. Currently, we are investigating some nice new meta programming techniques and are playing with the Runkit extension and some core hacks. So we thought about other additions to the Reflection classes, like getCode/setCode on ezcReflectionMethods, but this would probably not issue for a ezcReflection, because it would depend on Runkit. By the way, could you be so nice and have a look at http://pecl.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=12371 would be great if you could submit this simple null-check in the patch to the Runkit-Trunk. Think you have committed to this extension already some time ago. Thanks.
