Hi, I really love this idea, the proposed design will also allow optimisations as Tobias suggested. One i can think of is the reverse-property setting in the definition-handler that is not used for saving, but done in any CRUD case.
It *might* be the right time to add some relation-mapping features in PersistentObject. Tobias is avalaible to discuss about the possible new features tomorrow on IRC.
