Hi Tobias, I created a short sample for reproducing the error as you requested. The classes are autoloaded within eZ Publish, but I guess it works with an include too.
As for the platform info:
Windows XP SP2 running WAMP
PHP: 5.2.1
GD: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
