I think something is wrong - Neither program should be doing as well as
it is.     I specifically remember a point of diminishing returns, but
it was around 5000 - in other words 2500 was still measurably weaker.

I don't have time to check it out until later today - but take the
results with a grain of salt.

If I find a problem I will reset the K factor and continue to run with
the correct factor.
