eclipse has the cdt http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/ and there are some unit testing packages.

Since I sell software, building Linux apps is out of the question, since Linux users will insist that I give them my work for free.

maybe not. i use a lot of free as in speech software, but i don't have any problem paying for a vertical app like many faces.
