How about playing with your bot on Little Golem [1]? It's a turn based game server which generally is for humans but it shouldn't be too hard to interface and other people have done it for other games (I know of a bot that plays Dvonn there). This way you can play against more than one player and get a better understanding of the current strength of your bot (though the games might take a long time which might be a disadvantage).
