For your email about newer versions of MoGo; technically, the main differences with version 3 are: - use of MPI (useless unless you have a cluster); - opening books in 9x9; - more go-expertise - better exploration term (not UCT-like) - much stronger handling of patterns in the tree part - better handling of Nakade - a specific bandit for the root of the tree; - better MC player (more randomization) and I am sorry for all the improvements I have forgotten
The new version has the drawback that I don't know if it works under windows. Also the command line is not exactly the same (but almost). I think I also published a newer version on this mailing list a long time ago for 64 bits. Please send a private email if you want a Linux binary. Olivier
