I thought I was putting up another weak program - Many Faces running on a 1.7 GHz Pentium M. It's only doing about 8K playouts per move. I don't have a use for this old machine, so I'll probably keep this version up continuously.
It's got a higher rating than I expected (2250), but there is no anchor, so maybe it's inflated. I fixed a few bugs in the UCT code and made a minor change in the progressive unpruning algorithm but I didn't expect much improvement. I just added the full strength Many Faces, running on a Core2 Quad 8200 (2.3 GHz). It probably does about 50K playouts per move. Is it possible to get an anchor on the 19x19 server? Perhaps move the anchor from the 13x13?
