Ingo: Usually I try to follow URLs with a space, this time I forgot.
Lars: both points now corrected.
Magnus: I agree with your view that when a program is sure it has lost,
it should admit it, and resign.
Lars: I don't understand why its search strategy is relevant. If it is
sure it has lost, it should stop trying to search, and just resign.
However, you are wrong to say "it's not optimal" - as we saw, gomorra's
strategy of passing got it an undeserved win. If I thought this was
deliberate on your part, I would be critical. However, an opponent
ought to be able to cope with surprise passes.
