He did say MC bots but he also made a point of distinguishing MC bots as a special case, the MC algorithm itself is not suited to Japanese scoring (at least that is what he implied.)
So I take it that MFGO is exempt from this statement because it can be viewed as being BOTH a conventenal bot AND an MC both and Jason did not exempt conventienal programs.
