As far as I can see the opening book for 9x9 still opens on 5-5 ... And in the latest games on CGOS Fuego plays on 5-5. Maybe there was a Fuego-version without ob online or there was a testing version with a modified ob...
The opening books mentioned in the mail from Jason are only for 19x19.
