Please remove this. During the tournament, Many Faces was configured correctly.
After the tournament, I left it on KGS for general play to see how it did against strong players. That .ini file was set for Japanese rules, so it didn't do as well as I expected overnight. This comment has nothing to do with the tournament. Regards, David After the tournament, David Fotland stated Usually I have Many Faces play on-line using Japanese rules, since most people prefer them. I forgot to switch last night, so the engine was scoring Chinese, but the server was scoring Japanese, and that accounts for many of the losses. Also, many of the games were played with 0.5 komi rather than 6.5, so they should be counted differently. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:computer-go- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of Nick Wedd > Sent: Monday, September 06, 2010 1:34 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Computer-go] Congratulations to Erica! > > Congratulations to Erica, winner of yesterday's KGS bot tournament. > > My report is at http://www.weddslist.com/kgs/past/63/index.html.
