Almost all my CGOS runs use a 4 core 2.3 GHz machine I bought for $500.
Hardly a monster. Once in a while I use try with all four of these machines
in a cluster. So far the cluster is always weaker. That's why I'm not
using a cluster here in Kanazawa. But I think that other programmers who
have figured out how to make a cluster stronger, should be able to
participate in a way that rewards their efforts.

Anyone who can afford a high end $2000 laptop can afford the same $2000
cluster I have at home :)
