I am currently not working on Computer Go anymore, so it is unlikely that I will implement new features in GoGui. I will do some basic maintainence work on the stable version, that is apply bug fixes or do small changes or workarounds to make GoGui work with new versions of Java. But I can mainly do this for the Linux platform myself, because I rarely use a Windows PC nowadays and have no access to a Mac at all anymore. So if there are probems on other platforms, GoGui will keep working on these platforms only if other people submit bug reports and help with testing and fixing. I am especially thinking of the Mac platform after Mr. Jobs announced that Java on Macs is now deprecated, so it will probably be necessary that GoGui works with other versions of Java in the future, like SoyLatte, which is has never been tested with. Of course, GoGui is Free Software, so if someone creates a fork to implement new features, I don't mind at all. In fact, I was trying to make this easier by switching the version control system from SVN to git. But it would be nice to choose a different name for a forked version. - Markus _______________________________________________ Computer-go mailing list [email protected] http://dvandva.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/computer-go
