It is - originally - a board for draughts, that is a checkers variant
on 10x10. In the workshop these boards were mainly used for Amazons,
a modern classic which can be analysed be help of combinatorial game
theory. The board is held by Theo Tegos from Edmonton who was a top
programmer for Amazons in the early years of this century.

Currently Prof. Richard Lorentz and his group have the strongest
Amazons program (based on a Monte-carlo hybrid).
