8 x AMD Opteron 6128 (8 cores a 2GHz), with 2GB ECC per core (64GB) AS-1042G-TF SUPERMICRO 1U AMD QUAD about (4000€) 2x AMD Opteron 6128 with 2GB per core (32GB) should cost less than 2500€. The first configuration is what bough a friend of mine in Spain. I think the best option for a cheap AMD multisocket is G34 motherboards (2 and 4 sockets) with Opteron 6128 (about 270$ per CPU) Andrés _______________________________________________ Computer-go mailing list [email protected] http://dvandva.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/computer-go
