The June 2011 KGS computer Go tournament will be on Sunday June 5th,
starting at 08:00 UTC and ending at 16:00 UTC.
It will be an 8-round Swiss with 19x19 boards, 29 minutes each of main
time, and Canadian Overtime of 10 moves in 30 seconds. It will use
Chinese rules with 7.5 points komi. There are details at

Registration is now open. To enter, please read and follow the

are given at http://www.weddslist.com/kgs/rules.html . Your bot need not
be strong to enter, indeed new bots are particularly welcome.

I apologise for the short notice given. I also apologise for not yet
having written a report on last week's slow bot tournament. I have been
away from home for the last few days (helping with a real-life go
tournament). I am also handicapped by having recently "upgraded" to
Windows 7, which caused most of my software to stop working.
