Perhaps the admin was simply trying to apply the tournament rules uniformly?

Subject: Re: [Computer-go] Zen on 21x21

Now it turned out that two bots are participating
in the 21x21 tournaments (no's. 600 and 601) on KGS:
Zen and Pachi.

In the first two rounds of the first tournament each
one scored 1:1. See at
http://www.gokgs.com/tournEntrants.jsp?sort=s&id=600

I found one aspect interesting. In the second round,
the opponent of Pachi2 made a few comments on the bot
during the course of the game. At the end of the game
he got a warning for this from a senioradmin.

The comments:
C[HandA [2d?\]: ahaahaaha]
C[HandA [2d?\]: I understimated this bot]
C[HandA [2d?\]: take this!]
C[HandA [2d?\]: hahahahhahahahaahaha]
C[HandA [2d?\]: my faint in Go bots has been restored.]
C[HandA [2d?\]: finally decided to play fast?]

The warning:
C[seventeen [-\]: As I warned you, be polite or you want to be disqualified?]

Likely, the admin did not realize that Pachi was a bot.
Or should comments against a bot be forbidden?

Ingo.
