Different, yes. "Very different", I am not sure.

But having a computer repeating his miracle will also
give progress in understanding computer go.

PS. In Summer 2009 I was able to achieve a small step in direction
of the h-29 goal: By a special dynamic komi procedure the new ManyFaces
bot beat level 1 of the old ManyFaces at 25 stones handicap.
