Hey developers. As you may know, Im the author of the Kaya.gs site and I'm doing a website feature to allow beginners to play Go online quickly against a bot.
One of the ideas is to have an AtariGo bot on the front page so when people land, they can immediately toy around a board. Some ideas/ requirements are here https://github.com/conanbatt/OpenKaya/tree/master/AtariBot If the bot is built, I will make it available through Kaya's board technology and obviously promote its use. It would be open source and available to be challenged by other developers. The bot itself its only a grid-engine, no need to do any visual work, as long as the output is in form of arrays of arrays. If anyone is interested dont be afraid to speak up or ask questions. On another topic, Kaya has an open sourced GTP client, so any Bot authors can put up their bots on the server very quickly through the ruby gem "kayabot", also available on OpenKaya. Currently we have Gnugo, Fuego and Aya. Zen has been around the server before as well. Regards, Gabriel.
