But such "trustworthy" status is highly transient, so this isn't
really a long term solution. There are two aspects:

  (i) Some mail servers are over-paranoid about mail they receive
and have overly strict rules. gmx.de is one of the most famous
examples, I had a lot of trouble in the past with delivering to
gmx.de myself. If the mail server you use is dropping the incoming
mails, I'd regard that as primarily a setup problem on your side
and the responsibility of your sysadmins to deal with. Try using
support channels to complain to them, or consider switching to a
different mail erver. (Unfortunately, I don't have any good
recommendations myself, I run my own; maybe others do have.)

(ii) Typically, if the mail servers bounce the message, they include
some information about why and what to do about it - e.g. a URL with
blacklist removal option etc. These should appear in the logs and/or
reach the list admin as uncaught bounce notifications. Sometimes, this
can be dealt with easily, sometimes it requires too much work / payments
/ etc. But it would be good to know whether our list admin is watching
uncaught bounces and taking any action?

  Kind regards,

                                Petr Baudis
