I would not recommend going over more then 10% of the OEM CPU speed.
The cooling systems on laptops are very hard to modify and dispurse
heat. Going more then 10% or around a 1.8GHz may result in random
power downs and cpu issues due to heat.
I would recommend buying a new laptop.
