your software should be allowing DTV, and that your card too, since
your cable is digitally transmitting, then you need to connect it to
the DTV...so this could be the problem, if your cable is analogue (not
digital) then choose analogue signal in the settings, while if your
cable is digital, then hook it in the DTV.
