Matt.....he will use USB..the computer will be booted in windows
already.
When you plug the external harddrive, you will get a new assigned
letters, most commonly, F: and G: (since the CD will be E:).
now mostly your external's C: will become F:
you can drag what ever data you want to, and then make a diagnostic on
it, it could help lots.
