Ok, so i need to do this for my college's project , i need to send
data from a micro controller to a PC through a network connection
(LAN)
first i know that the micro controller only understand serial
communications, and i found that some router could be hacked and add a
serial port on it, as shown in this link >

now i have the problem of programming both the PC and the micro
controller , the data sent isn't so complicated , i just need to send
1 byte and i want it to reach the other side safely, any idea how i
could do that , because i don't think i could program a micro
controller to produce 7 network layers to reach its destination
i my self don't know a lot of this yet , there might be some problems
that i didn't realize yet but i don't need the whole solution , i just
at least need some leads that i could help me start from
