What version of Internet Explorer are you using?
Go to Help up top on the main bar and choose "About Internet Explorer"
If you are using version 6 then I would try to update to version 7,
once updates are complete you should have version 7.0.5370.11 or at
least something close to it with the first number being a 7 of course.
