I had a 320GB drive go bad in a Vaio PCG-281L, I ran chkdsk (/f & /r)
on it from another PC then had it cloned to a 500GB drive, after which
I had GParted resize the main and recovery partitions then it went
back to the Vaio. The drive runs fine, I ran chkdsk and a repair
(vista wouldn't boot from the data on the new drive due to missing
files) on Vista itself, but the C partition shows up as 290GB under
Vista (probably what is was originally) even though disk manager &
diskpart says that it's 490.

Any ideas?
