I have finally overcame!! Since I kudnt start e-recovery from destop (desktop want showing), I used a combination of Alt+F10, restored the laptop to manufacturer settings. All the drivers and Os was successuflly installed. I had successfully backed up all data prior to this by accessing the drive using task manager (cntrl+alt+del) and launching explorer.exe . I can now continue using this baby laptop! (acer aspire one)
