Bluffpoint,

The first step I would take would be to uninstall and reinstall one of
the offending browsers (I would try FireFox first) and make sure it is
up to date with the latest version.
Also I would do general PC maintenance: Clean out all temp files (Try
CCleaner, great little program), do a defrag, and a check disk.
