I purchased a dell latitude d410. No os installed. i loaded xp pro sp3 with proper drivers. everything was great until I noticed that my sprint air card will not wake up coming out of hibernation or standby. The only way to get it to work is to restart laptop everytime. I tried all different settings on device in network connections and nothing seems to solve the problem. I tried a different card (Wi-Fi card) and it works fine out of standby. So i thought maybe problem with sprint card but why does it work when i restart laptop? And why does my sprint card work on my work laptop inspiron 8600 coming out of standby? No problem there. I also checked the BIOS and can't find anything that would cause a problem. Hope anyone can help.
