True, true...

I have heard about one specific issue that is very common with Notebook
users. Because the notebook is small, its light weight, people think - "i
can take it wherever i go." So, they go to bed and take the notebook with
them,...they want to watch a movie or listen to music, finish todays work...
as they fall a sleep.... The problem in this case is: notebooks have cooling
systems - airflow from the bottom side. So, if you put your notebook on a
soft surface, like a pillow, bed, sofa or cauch... ...by doing that, you
will stop the airflow and the notebook will start to over-heat. Worst case
scenario = lets say, you are watching a movie, listening to music, and your
notebook - in this case is plugged in, so the battery will not go empty and
turn your PC off, but it will run all night, with extreme temperatures.
Never put your notebook on a soft surface, as this will disable the airflow
- colling. If you often use your computer in an environment that doesn't
offer a desk... be sure not to forget to supply a hard, stable, straight
surface bellow so that at least a few millimeters are always open for
air-flow - cooling, for your valuable equipment.
