This sounds like a motherboard type problem where it is having problems handing specific IRQ's. And from your first posting it does seem to be an IRQ related problem. You could try to re-enable your modem, inbuilt LAN and WiiFi cards one at a time, checking to see what IRQ's are getting assigned and shared (You might be able to get this information in the BIOS setup as some BIOS's - depending upon PC maker and motherboard/BIOS maker - do give that information and allow to shift the IRQ sharing around. I tend to suspect either IRQ 9 or IRQ 11 is giving problems (since IRQ 9 is quite common to get assigned to an AGP video card and your first posting mentions the Compaq AGP driver (agpCPQ.sys)
