Sorry if this is totally dumb. I want to use a Sylvania LCD monitor that was kicking around, and I'm assuming the power cable for it is among the bazillion in our house.
I'm used to display cables that have the three slots on the display end. I think they're usually labeled "N", "E", and "L". There doesn't seem to be anywhere on the back of this display to plug in such a cable. Instead, in addition to the audio and VGA ports, it has one small socket labeled "DC-IN 12V". I thought U.S. house current was AC. Does this mean that the monitor must have come with an AC to DC adaptor? Just trying to figure out what I should be searching for. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group.
