Sorry for such a delayed reply to your query but may i know whether you are trying to open empty dvd or a dvd with some data on it. If you are trying to open an empty dvd drive then it would show that drive is inaccessible cause i feel that windows doesn't recognize blank dvd due to some reason and he you need to burn them you ought use some cd burning software like nero etc. Hope my suggestions help
