We have a PC hooked up with a D-Link DI-714p+ router. My Macbook shows that it's connected to our network and even shows full signal strength but when I try to open web browser (Mozzilla Firefox or Safari) it won't open.
Things I've tried: - Disabling the Firewall on the PC - Resetting (unplugging and plugging back in) the modem and router. - Resetting (pushing the little paper clip button on the back of the router) Other info: - We just hooked up the D-Link after we had problems with our Belkin wireless G router. (Would randomly disappear and reappear from the available networks list on my Macbook). - Our iPhones can connect to our wireless network just fine. - I ran network diagnostics on my Macbook and it shows that Airport, Airport Settings, Network settings are fine but that ISP, Internet and Server all failed. I'm not terribly tech savvy so please don't use to much shorthand/ jargon. Thanks!!! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group.
