I prefer AVG free edition and always recommend it to people who are
new to computers and or are not techy because its so easy to set up
and just leave it to do its job. But my techy keeps putting Avast on
my computers and well yes its as good as AVG but I don't have a clue
how to use it nor do most non techy users. So Avg for us non techys
and Avast for the rest. But avg is a good one to learn from on how a
virus program should work and then move on to what ever you prefer to
use.
Coldwater I recommend you try it out so you know what we are all
talking about but I am sure you will prefer the Avast since you are
one of the techy people.
