I had that virus on one of our users before and its a real pain to get rid of. Last month I had to take my laptop (Dell Inspiron 600m running xp) in to have viruses removed. Today, they are back. Antivirus System Pro keeps popping up and I can't access my programs. The first time it happened, I was running AVG for protection, this time I got McAfee free from comcast. I ran a scan and it didn't help. Is there anything I can do myself to get rid of this or do I just have to take it and have it done by a tech person? It cost me $70.00 to have it done which I didn't think was too bad but now I'm unemployed and really tight with money.
