Hmm, yes I can confirm that you are in a "BIG" problem.

I'm not aware that there is any other way around this. Apart from the
re installation of Windows XP. I am curious to know why you didn't
activate it the first time you where asked? This also means that you
will loose all those XP files you have on there now, next time I would
suggest activating promptly. Maybe to give you a better reason to
reinstall, why not buy Windows 7?
