The problem is, the Adobe Flash and Adobe ShockWave Flash that we
install in our browsers are only "plug-in's".

Outside of the browser, you cannot play .swf files without these plug-
ins to my knowledge, you must need some other program.

I've taken a look at the files compatibility for GOM player and .swf
is not listed. A Flash player that lists .swf as file is will play
would be ideal.

The www.eolsoft.com/freeware/flash_movie_player link is broken.

@ Coalwater, I've never heard of this method of playing files this
way, but perhaps you can explain to me how you do it?

BTW, I am using Windows XP Professional with SP3 installed.
