You are right. However, since the majority of 'freezing' problems due
to a driver (quite often it is the video driver and often caused by
the video board memory) are caused by flaky memory, I would tend to
want to swap memory mods around to see it the symptoms change. That is
why I asked the question right at the start what he had done (if
anything) since why suggest something he has already tried (possibly).
His initial post is a study in "how NOT to get effective help by
wasting the responders time and effort to help".
