Hi, My WD external hard drive does not stay recognized on my computer. When I first plug it in it makes the ding/beep noise and shows up on "my computer" but after a few seconds it makes the ding/beep noise again and disappears. And it keeps repeating this over and over. Is this the hard drive or my laptop? And how do I fix it, or get the hard drive to stay recognized long enough to transfer my files to another hard drive?
