I'm using the following:

Engadget
The Gadgeteer
The How-to-Geek
Gizmodo

I have them set to show the 3 newest articles. The new tab opens when
I click to read any of the new articles. If i click on the main link
to go to the individual web sites, the browsers do not open new tabs.
This behavior started in the past few days--I think it was over the
weekend when I first noticed it.
